Dear Hurting Friend,

GOD is preparing you for what HE has prepared for you....
I have learned that it is amazing what GOD can do with a broken heart when we
give HIM all the pieces....

I have learned how  broken dreams have opened to me
far "Greater Glimpses of HIS Glory"
than I ever imagined without the brokenness....

When the darkness seems to envelope you and the "SON" seems veiled,
HE will reveal to you HIS "Rainbows in the Night!"

GOD cannot trust all HIS children to walk in the dark
for they will not praise HIM in their pain....(1Thess 5:18)

When we submit and allow GOD "Complete Control"
when our lives and emotions seem so out of control.....then,
HE can and will turn our greatest losses
into ways to demonstrate the Greatest Love
the world has ever known....
the LIFE and LOVE of our LORD JESUS CHRIST....

It has been said that
"A Friend is the first person who comes in when the whole world goes out"

Several years ago as i (bJ) was reading John 15:15, JESUS is speaking and says,
"No longer do i call you slaves, for the slave does not know
what his master is doing; but
I have called you Friends,
for all things that I have heard from MY FATHER
I have made known to you."

THE SPIRIT spoke to my heart and i was impressed to begin calling those who
HE would draw to The GRACE PLACE simply 'Friends'...
and simply share with them what FATHER shared with me.
i had never been comfortable with calling those HE brought clients or counselees,
therefore, everyone who has come to us from that time forth we simply call
"FRIENDS"
A recent devotional quoted a man named John Chrysostrom (347-407). He said,

"Such is friendship, that through it we love places and seasons;
for as flowers drop their sweet leaves on the ground around them,
so Friends impart favor even to the places where they dwell.
With friends even poverty is pleasant...
It would be better for us that the sun were exhausted
than that we should be without Friends."

And so, we welcome all who are drawn to The GRACE PLACE as "Friends"
Come, let us become Friends For Life.......
